In July we went on a road trip to Kentucky to see Brian's dad and then to Indiana to stay with his mom. The 9 hour road trip to get to Kentucky went amazingly well. We stopped every couple of hours and stopped for a long lunch and dinner at places where the kids could run around. The trip home didn't go quite as well with rain the whole two days and constant traffic issues. It should have taken us 12 hours on the road to get home spread over two days but instead it took us more like 16 hours plus with the rain we couldn't stop at rest stops and let the kids get some exercise. Ugh. But it was a great trip overall and the kids did amazing! Clara loved seeing her cousins and the weather while we were there was perfect!
