2nd Photo Class

For my second photography class we continued to shoot around campus for the first couple of hours. Once we started to loose our light we headed toward Hillsborough Street with our tripods to try and get some good night shots. Here are the results!

1st Photo Class

I'm currently taking a photography class at the NCSU Craft Center. For the first class we walked around campus for an hour and took pictures. I was happy to get a couple of pretty good ones.

Shelly's Birthday!!

Last night we celebrated Shelly's brithday at PF Chang's. Everything was yummy!

Yes, Mark just let Oliver bite into a lemon.

And, then he started to gag. Instead of helping, Mr. Brian almost peed his pants laughing.

Oliver ate all his dinner and some of everyone else's dinner. I'm concluding that he has a hollow leg. Geez, what's that smell??

Oliver created a signature design for Mrs. Sharon.

Goodness that triple chocolate torte looks good. But I wouldn't know since I didn't get a bite =(

Titus decided he would hang out with Mr. Brian for a while.

Geez, what kind of flash do you have on that camera?? I think I'm blind!! Someone take that woman's camera away from her!

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial day weekend I decided I was going to be really diligent about taking lots of pictures to document our fun holiday weekend. Well... as usual things didn't really go the way I planned. Plus we ended up spending a lot of time at the pool and I'm not about to have a camera around when I'm in a bathing suit. But I did get a few fun shots.

Friday after work I stopped by the Farmers Market and was maybe a bit over enthusiastic about all the produce. We did somehow manage to eat most of it before it started to rot.

As soon as I got home it started to rain and a HUGE thunderstorm soon followed! In the background you can see my Dahlia's in the front yard. Aren't they pretty!

As soon as the thunder started Abby proceeded to hide behind the chair. Its much safer back there.

Brian opened all the windows because the temperature outside dropped about 20 degrees because of the storm. It went from hot to almost chilly in a few hours.

For dinner we had black bean lasagna (thanks Shelly) with sauteed spinach and artichokes. Yummy!

Mom and Dad came down for a visit and we went shopping Saturday morning. We found some great deals at Marshalls! After that we went and got pedicures. I meant to take a picture of my adorable toes but I guess you will just have to take my word for it. I love my dad's expression in this picture. I think I just said "dad, why won't you ever smile in a picture".

Sunday I wore one of my new outfits to church. Brian's shirt is actually purple too. No, we didn't plan that.
