We are so proud of Brian finishing school!! Today is his first day full time with ATI in Apex as well as my last week at work. There was a time when this week felt a million years away but now looking back it seems like it happened so quickly! 6 years ago things were soooo difficult with Brian living in Norfolk and me in Raleigh. Since Brian was in the military his schedule had no flexibilty so we didn't get to see each other a ton and even when we thought he was going to have the weekend off, something would happen on his sub and he would have to go in to work even though I had just drove 3 hours to come see him. It was rough and it seemed like it was never going to end. But since that time I finished my Masters degree, we got married, we bought a house, we had a beautiful little girl, and Brian got his engineering degree. Crazy!
This weekend we were super busy but I did manage to get a few pictures. Friday night we celebrated Brian's graduation with some yummy dinner and desert. Saturday morning we had a birthday party, Saturday afternoon we had a get together with my extended family in Sanford, then Saturday night me and mom went to the Morrisville outlet consignment sale and bought Clara way too many clothes! On Sunday we recovered and Clara took 4 naps!!

Clara in her new dress Mimi got her in Colorado. Its still a little big but the way this kid is growing it will fit in no time! Everyone thinks she looks like she is singing in this picture. She does talk a lot and loves to make spit bubbles but we haven't started singing yet.
