Training at Clemson

Last week I went to a training class at Clemson to learn how to bait soil and filter water for Sudden Oak Death disease. It was a lot of fun since I don't reguarly get to work in a lab, I just get to read and report on all the different techniques usually. I got to look at a bunch of plant pathogens under a $10,000 compound microscope which was awesome! No comparison to the $250 scopes in biology class!!
